To open our reimagined season, we’re taking you on a year of musical adventures and we knew we had to start in one of the most musical cities in the entire world. Stroll the streets of Paris, enjoy la vie en rose with musical treats from the iconic city of lights. Travel back in time to the days when Joseph Bologne, Chevelier de Saint-Georges made Paris’ music scene sparkle, soak in la belle epoque with story telling from Ravel, and daydream with one of the most famous of Debussy’s creations.

Music under the Paris sky was the quintessential place to start this year of musical adventure as we reimagine the possibilities.

♫ Music of Paris

This performance will stream live September 26th at 7:30pm and will be available video-on-demand October 4th.

The SSO is reimaginging the possibilities for what concerts we can bring to the stage for our 90th season and still address the risks and protocols required to ensure safety for musicians and audiences during the pandemic.

We’re trying something completely different this year – we’re taking a musical trip around the world, so each and every concert is a musical trip. To ensure that we can keep adapting to the Saskatchewan Public Health requirements, we’re planning trips a month or two at a time. So we’ll be constantly revealing concerts that are coming up!

Each concert will be available for livestream for 24 hours and video on demand through our new Digital Concert Stream.
