Tenor Fernando Varela is a truly global sensation, having performed in more than 24 countries and often compared to the soaring voices of Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli. A charismatic and dynamic performer whom Puerto Rico’s leading newspaper, El Neuvo Dia, calls the “Puerto Rican Pavorotti.” This will be Fernando’s first time to perform in Canada and the Saskatoon Symphony is working with composer Ron Paley to create an amazing premiere event.
