Based on two episodes from Julia Child’s show “The French Chef”, Bon appétit! was written as a one-act opera, or a “monologue for mezzo-soprano and chamber ensemble.”
Saskatoon’s own Oli Guselle takes to the stage to bake us a cake as Julia Child, backed by the Saskatoon Symphony’s Wind Quintet and pianist Kerry Agnew.
This concert is presented in partnership with Saskatoon Opera.
