Sanjana Brijlall is a 20-year-old mezzo-soprano from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. She is so excited to make her SSO debut in The Medium as Mrs. Nolan.  She is a third-year vocal performance student at the University of Saskatchewan under the tutelage of Janice Paterson. Sanjana enjoys singing in various styles, including classical, jazz, and musical theatre. She has participated in district and provincial music festivals in Saskatchewan and has been the recipient of the Tudor Bowl. This past summer, Sanjana participated in the Saskatoon Opera Summer Proms Concert Series. She has travelled to Texas to participate in the vocal jazz summer workshop at the University of North Texas. Sanjana has also performed as a featured soloist alongside the Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra. She is a member of the University of Saskatchewan Greystone Singers, and the Usask Music (as) Theatre and Jazz Ensembles.
