Allison Moores

Mrs. Gobineau

Allison Moores is thrilled to be joining the SSO in their new production of Menotti’s The Medium as Mrs. Gobineau. Allison recently returned to her hometown of Saskatoon after spending many years abroad pursuing voice studies and working as a singer. She resides with her husband and two young children and is currently a full-time student working towards a degree in speech & language therapy. Allison has been acclaimed for her “extensive upper register and resonant bottom” and is known to be a “natural and alluring actress”-Ludwig van Toronto. She received her Bachelor’s degree in voice performance at the U of S under Dr. Garry Gable and Kathleen Lohrenz Gable. Allison attended Western University for graduate studies in voice performance under soprano Jackalyn Short.
