A concert designed specifically for your Valentines’ weekend–full of romance, passion, and music!
Johannes Moser is one of the world’s greatest cellists…and he just so happens to have a deep tie to Saskatoon.
Moser’s mother, the world-renowned soprano Edith Wiens, grew up just north of Saskatoon, so it is always special to have Moser here for a performance. Known for his passionate and dramatic performances, showcasing his exceptional virtuosity, Moser will be performing Dvořák’s romantic Cello Concerto.
The evening opens with the Saskatoon Youth Orchestra taking the stage alongside some of their SSO mentors.
Karl Hirzer leads the SSO in a night of ardent music that sets the tone for a romantic night at the symphony.
