Nathaniel Mears is a percussionist from Ottawa, Ontario. He began playing drums at age 7 and switched to orchestral percussion in high school. He attended the University of Ottawa for a Bachelor of Music as well as a Master of Music under the study of Jon Wade and Andrew Harris.

He has performed with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, Kingston Symphony Orchestra, Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, as well as taking part in the National Academy Orchestra during the summers of ’23, ’24, ’25.
