Wagner [Vahgner] Barbosa is a professional and Suzuki-trained teacher with experience in private instruction, group teaching, recital preparation, ensemble coaching, and youth music programs. He holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of São Paolo (2021) and a Master of Music from the University of Saskatchewan (2024).

Wagner has been a member of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra since 2022 and became its Assistant Concertmaster in September 2025. His love for teaching music led him to establish his own private music studio, where he teaches violin and music theory. Since 2025, he has also served as Assistant Conductor and Principal Second Violinist to the University of Saskatchewan Symphony Orchestra.

When he’s not playing the violin, Wagner enjoys singing in choirs and cooking for friends.
