Saskatoon’s own Alexa Haynes-Pilon has quickly established herself in the early music scene and is known for her brilliance on baroque cello, viola de gamba, and even baroque bassoon. She returns home to the prairies to lead your orchestra with her cello in a program of early music that gives us a glimpse into concert halls of the 17th century.
