Your orchestra is celebrating the beginning of the 94th season by bringing home the incredible Maestra Tania Miller. She will lead your SSO in Elgar’s iconic Enigma Variations.

Making her long-awaited SSO debut, pianist Sara Davis Buechner joins your orchestra to perform Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1. The passionate and emotional first movement is one of the most recognizable concerto openings.

Maestra Miller has chosen to open the concert with a piece she commissioned from friend and composer Michael Oesterle entitled Home – a fitting start to season 94!
